At the start of each season, interested choreographers can fill out a brief form along with a 30 second video of their movement ideas. Choreographers will be announced 1-2 weeks after the choreography deadline.

After choreographers are selected, we will host a kick-off party so that dancers can meet each choreographer and learn a short section of their choreography. The next day, online registration will be held and dancers can sign up for rehearsals on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is a two step process. After dancers receive confirmation of their selections, they will be required to make payment via the registration page on our website.

We welcome dancers of all levels and experience, ensuring every member has the opportunity to develop and celebrate their own unique qualities. As the choreographers are in an educational and leadership position, they must exhibit proficiency in the style they are choreographing.

Dancers should communicate any absences directly with their choreographer. We encourage dancers to miss no more than 2 rehearsals per dance as the creative process is a team effort and the absences of one person affect the entire group.

Dancers and choreographers may perform in a maximum of 4 dances per season.

If a participant would like to withdraw from the program, they until 3 weeks after the date of the first rehearsal to receive a full refund. Any withdrawals made after that time will not be refunded. If you would like to withdraw, e-mail synchronicitydanceco@gmail.

Choreographers are responsible for choosing their own costumes. They will also collect payment from their dancers and purchase costumes for their group. We encourage choreographers to choose costumes that are $65 or less to ensure affordability

Rehearsals will take place at either the Boston Center for the Arts Studio 204 or Studio 414, Boston. Each dance rehearses for one hour per week.
